2024 Throwing Clinic - Fall 2024
DYSA is offering a free throwing clinic at the MACE South field on Saturday September 14th to players who played on a DYSA team in 2024. 6u/8u 9:00-10:00; 10u 10:00-11:00; 12u and up 11:00-12:00. The focus will be on the fundamentals of throwing in a series of warm-up exercises that you can use to strengthen and develop your throwing skills. The clinic is appropriate for all skill levels. Former UCLA Bruin pitcher Matt Trask will run the clinic. Bring your favorite throwing partner to learn along with you. All participants must have played on a DYSA team this calendar year. Parents/siblings are recommended to join their player in learning these important fundamentals. Fall softball - Fall 2024The Fall Ball season is just around the corner!Fall Ball involves inter-league play with other leagues affiliated with NORCAL. The age that determines what division your daughter participates in is the age that she was as of Aug 31, 2024. The Winter Ball season begins Labor Day weekend with a seeding tournament and runs through November 3rd. All teams will play on Sundays.The divisions will be divided into five age groups: 6U (age 4-6), 8U (ages 7-8), 10U (ages 9-10) , 12U (ages 11-12), 14U (ages 13-14), 16U (ages 15-16).In addition to players, we are also looking for coaches and managers. If you are interested in coaching or managing, please register as a volunteer.
